Large parking bay at Inverskilavulin bridge. Forest track, then made the dumb mistake of turning right about 100 metres too early on the forest track. Over the bridge, then turned left, there following a horrible fight with forestry emerging at the deer fence at about 270m asl. Up typical grassy tussocky ground to find the helpful ATV track. Soft snow from about 500m asl, in places quite deep, but surprisingly was able to follow boot prints to the top though I didn't see anyone. Returned all the way down the ATV track which led to a good bridge and a muddy track back to the main forest track. Damp, thick drizzle, very little wind, very mild, cloud in the glen and above 450m asl.Owen B15/02/2024

With Bolton, CJM & Jill. Hill is much more impressive than map suggests. (10km,640m).ger29/11/2023
Parked at the bridge at Inverskilavulin. Through the signposted route in the forest and then a good ATV track. Easy going after that. Clear, cold but very dry! With Jill R, Ger and CM. Just over 4 hours.bolton29/11/2023

Parked by bridge at Inverskilavulin. Followed signed track through forest, then R on grassy path (post set back) to join new logging track later rough ATV track. R over bridge and followed ATV track intermittently to summit. Unusual view of Fort William.MichaelF23/05/2023
With Lesley. Very slow circuit of Course an Lichtuin, the south side of which was hard going tussocks and steep heather descent. Return by ATV track used for ascent would have been much better.Nick Canute20/04/2023

New Garmin GPS placed top way too far from co-ordinates. Not sure if GLONASS enabled during a war was correct thing to do! Ignore google maps, there's now lots of parking near the bridge.Jhimmy28/04/2022

A great short walk. The way through the forest has multiple way markers, so you can't get lost and the SMC's hidden bridge is in plain view for those who look for it, though it's getting a little bit past its prime. The ATV track goes a long way up the hill, so it's an easy but mucky and wet walk. It was T-shirt weather all the way to the summit, despite it being November. Splendid views.Gill09/11/2020
