From Ranochan up hydro track then fairly entertaining route up stream line following vague trods back and forwards across stream. Descent to east much easier. Steep section of hydro track is like descending on ball bearings! Note that you dont need to climb the gate, just go round it at the stream. | daviemore | 01/04/2024 |
Parked in lay-by, west of bridge, on A830. Up hydro track, then feint stalkers path alongside river and pathless ground uphill to summit. Solo. | Dangerous Dave | 28/03/2024 |

Parked in lay by just west of bridge over Allt an Utha. Walked back over bridge and up forestry track. At end of track, where it dropped to dam, continued ahead on vague deer/stalkers path track along east side of Allt Feith a Chatha to open area and then W up flank of hill on mixed terrain to summit. Cloud base around 700m so limited views. Descent over Sgurr a Mhuide to forest track. | MichaelF | 26/05/2023 |
Parked up at side of A830 just west of bridge over Allt an Utha and walked back over bridge and up forestry track. From top of track continued along east side of Allt Feith a Chatha before heading west over rough but solid ground to summit. Take a short walk north from cairn for great view down to the remote Loch Beoraid. | Jossker | 19/05/2023 |
From Drochaidh allt Utha, linked slabby scrambles up the east flank. With Lesley. Didn't continue south to bag Sgurr a Mhuide in order to be down to watch the FA cup semi-final. Unfortunately Man City beat us 3-0. Gorgeous views 5th day in a row. | Nick Canute | 22/04/2023 |
From S, aided by hydro works track. Walked over to Glas Bheinn E of Glenfinnan to meet Graham, my lift. Not sure these two are ever done together! | davechaffey | 17/03/2023 |
From Ranochan, verge parking. Climb the gate then up the track almost to end where you see a deer track heading NE uphill following the burn on its SE side. Up to a bump, then a nice little ridge parallel with the ravine, then up to a wide shelf between the burn and Druim Loch Eilt, then cross and follow the E branch of the stream to the lochan directly below the top. All very direct and easy, no need to bother with crossing the main burn low down. Fine hill, good views, one of the better Grahams. | Gill | 30/08/2022 |

Up from Ranochan with Ruadh on the new (it’s all relative) track. Smashing views out to Eigg and Muck. | JimT | 08/11/2021 |

From Sgurr an Utha. Followed the fence posts all the way except took a more northerly line around Sithean Mor. On descent, again followed the fence posts back to the col, then picked up a faint path along the Allt Feith a Chatha back to the main track to the A830. | Owen B | 28/05/2021 |

Track and path along the Allt Feith a'Chatha initially, then found route up the hill between rocky outcrops. Frosty day made for easier walking as bogs largely frozen. Stunning views all around. | mcbboyd | 10/11/2019 |
Fine circuit of 5 summits from NM876817. View to S Uist hills between the Rum & Skye Cuillins. | jimbloomer | 10/11/2019 |
Took track up to new culvert then old footpath (wet) all the way to fence and followed it as near as damn it to the summit. Complex ground so return same way - excellent views to the isles and down to north. | SS | 10/06/2019 |

On first day of TGOC 2019. From Lochailort via the lochan speckled moorland to the north of Loch Eilt with Alan, Andy, Phil & David. Showery. Descended east to the Allt Feith a' Chatha and then to the A830. | alistairpooler | 10/05/2019 |

MC alone. Direct northerly ascent from car park. Difficult weather with top half of hill under storm conditions. Visibility reasonable but consistent rain heavier than some power showers I've stood under! Summit found and immediate retreat. | Martin66 | 31/12/2018 |
