Parking available at the old quarry close to Rigg Beck. Follow the signposted footpath picking up the secondary track down to the river after half a mile. This needs fording but level gravel and stones makes it quite feasible (I managed it with dry feet, even after a night of heavy rain). A wide, clear track heads diagonally upwards to the summit of the ridge then meets a wider track leading to the summit.moorsman09/05/2015
