Amazingly, despite my initial thoughts of an hours fell bashing, there is a definite path all the way from the parking area at Honister (alt 1171ft). Leave the car park on the path signposted to Grey Knotts. After 100m the path reaches the fenceline. Here the path to Seatoller Fell leaves on the left and can be followed all the way to the summit. One hour return.moorsman02/10/2015
