A round of Gleann nam Fiadh taking in all the Munros and tops. Weather sadly misty all day and extremely wet underfoot in the valley. With B and R.jenx22/10/2020
Finally to Shurr na Lapaich after many years wanting. Dross weather tho. From Affric CP to Affric lodge and good track to 500m. Rough walking to ridge path at 800m. Continued over Mullach Cadha Rainich to Mam Sodhail in deteriorating weather, not the improvement forecast. After Carn Eighe took the next five MTs in rain, hail and low cloud. Dropped off ridge before Tom a Choinnich steeply to lower burn in spate. No crossing back to Affric lodge so all way down left side of burn to road by new hydro scheme and a mile back up valley to van.nordicstar22/10/2020
Track near Affric Lodge N, then W across moorland to Sgurr na Lapaich, along ridge via Mullach Cadha Rainich to Mam Sodhail, then N to Beinn Fhionnlaidh (contouring past Carn Eige on W side), via Stob Coire Lochan, returned over Carn Eige, then along E ridge over Stob a' Choire Dhomhain, Stob Coire Dhomhnuill, Sron Garbh, then descended to Gleann nam Fiadh to follow track out, but it was in such poor condition that I crossed the river and took the track S direct back to Affric Lodgekdbennett17/06/2018

We stayed overnight in the private hostel at Cannich. It was a long day over Mam Sodhail and all the way out to Beinn Fhionnlaidh. Gary talked incessantly. It was grey and wet and it was a long way back at the end of the day. We returned to the car after dark.langskill05/08/2008

Solo. Parked at NH216243. After reaching the summit of Tom a' Chòinnich. I followed the ridge to Sròn Garbh and Stob Coire Dhomhnuill. The top called Stob a' Choire Dhomhain in 1990 Munro's Tables (1148m) at NH133265 is a little rocky tower and was climbed over. In the 1974 Tables it was called Creag na h-Eige, and was once the Munro top. The 1997 Tables has the Munro top at NH131264, height 1147m, the name used being Stob a' Choire Dhomhain. This was reached 5 minutes later. I continued to reach the summit of Càrn Eighe.pwbellarby24/05/2005
