Just arrived from Manchester: Lovely evening: As JimB from village hall car park: anticlockwise to start of pathGordonAdshead29/05/2022
As Jim Bloomer. Delightful path dappled with sunlight. Summit hidden by bushes. Continued south but path ends with a vertical drop at viewpoint. Returned by route of ascent.Campbell Singer08/05/2022
With Lesley and Mike. From car parking opposite Port Appin village hall, round corner to start of Clach Tholl footpath, then rougher footpath up rightwards to ridge and south-westwards along ridge to summit. Warm and sunny. No view from summit, so continued south-westwards to end of ridge for impressive views over Airds Bay and Lynn of Lorn. Back along length of path, then along footpath at foot of south-eastern side of hill to and through Clach Tholl natural arch and back to Port Appin along foot of north-western side of hill.mainnirnamfiadh01/08/2021
Path goes full length of the hill then abruptly stops above a disused quarry. All tops visited.Adrian30/06/2021

Follow the signposted track from NM 9067 4539 for 65m before forking R on a 2nd track which heads up diagonally to join the main hill spine. A quartzite gem but it looked too steep to get down at the end to inspect the raised natural arch.jimbloomer09/05/2021
Park at village hall near Airds Hotel. Go round corner and follow the good track on the SE side of the spine. Do not attempt to cut corners as NW is dense rhododendrons. Walked length of ridge.Thearlaichdubh19/03/2020
I started from the pier, which was a mistake, the approach being well guarded by basalt crags. A couple of attempts to scramble up were foiled by greasy rock and I had to go round the point before finding a way up through bracken and rhodies. Naturally, a fine little path then led over the summit. I returned the same way but would probably have been better to continue north eastColin Crawford18/09/2017
