From Cow Hill and then along Forestry paths, with marked side path to grassy embanked fort. Fun encouraging all the West Highland Way completers on their last few miles- in varying states of enthusiasm/ injury. Parked at free Braveheart Forestry car park to N on west side of Glen Nevis. Drizzle. HP- vitrified rock outcrop of iron age An Dun fort.Denise 17/09/2021

Up marked path/foresty track from Braveheart camper van park. The final stone steps are a lovely touch. Superb views up and down Glen Nevis.summitter08/05/2021

Lovely sunny winters day for one of my most interesting ascents of the year. Parked in the restaurant 100 yds N of the YH and followed W Highland way up to the path heading off to the left. Interesting sign to the hill fort claiming A most desireable residence in Glen Nevis ! Much better path than I expected up to the top of the fort. However I did feel quite tired when I got back to the car after nearly 4 hours of crutch work.GordonAdshead31/12/2019

The 1st hill I climbed in Scotland at age of 20.Done by chance on the way up to do a big long solo traverse of the Mamores. Left YHA at 7.25 for sweaty steep slog up firebreak in wood to fort on hillock, climbed into with difficulty fenced off area so as to keepto ridge and visit fort then had to climb back out with difficulty. Orchids everywhere! slogged on upwards to my 1st ever Munro - Mullach nan Coirean.Chris Pearson16/07/1983
