Parking as others, biked up to the mast visited all 4 areas.robertphillips17/06/2022
The mysterious line of posts actually lead nearly to the top and lots of the smaller branches have been cut so now fairly straightforward. The posts then carry on northwards to a ride which can be followed back to near the mast. Maybe the 'Poachers will be Prosecuted' signs at either end are related?daviemore06/04/2021
From 970570. Nearly at the mast a line of small posts (some yellow topped) provide a vague clue in the direction of the high point. Easier as you get there, but the usual forestry problems.NormanW03/04/2021
Parked at NN970570, thanks to LM for the tip. Two contour rings were enough for me. Plenty of hood-up ducking and weaving between them. Deep snow between mast and summit didn't help matters. One of the trees snatched my woolly hat but I was able to retrace my steps in the snow to reclaim it.alda07/03/2016
Parked to SW of hill, in car park next to phone box at East Haugh. Steep, narrow, tarred road to forest edge then track to mast (it's possible to drive to top of road and park at NN970570). Visited all 4 x 480m contour ring locations. Northern pair hardest due to trees - both accessed from boggy clearing with tiny lochan (NN994584).Lindsay M07/05/2015
