From Loch of Lowes cp, free as closed in winter. Marked path to Dunkeld golf club. Raining so followed fences to Dunkeld Craig. Track through Craig Wood towards mast, L 100m after Dean's Burn on track. Wall and deer fence crossed where low or damaged. Rough trails to 317m Newtyle Hill. Back to .314 and easy across fence on triangular stile. Rough path to track NE to N of W Cult. Track SE to Cult Hill. Through Wood E on track to Trig. SE on track and signed path to W of Whirley. SW on track to Wood strip then SE and E on path and track to Caputh Hill. E, N then NE on track to Mains of Fordie. NW here on field track and 3 gates to track running N of Fordie Hill. R to E Cult Farm and N past Mucklarie. W to Little shooting patch on edge of wood and N steeply up to Hilton Woods. E off back to field, NE on track then path to yellow road. W to Catchpenny then NE on path towards Butterstone. Back on path along edge of Loch of Butterstone and Lowes.
