This walk was part of attempt on the Brothers Ridge which was abandoned after Saileag because of strong cross winds (two other walkers also abandoned).knarf26/05/2022
Clockwise round of the Brothers Ridge from the parking area off the small road East of the Cluanie Inn. Set off on bike down the A87 at 8am and was lucky to only have one car need to pass me - was locking the bike up at Glen Shiel car park by 8:20am and starting the leg burster up to Bealach na Lapain. Great views on the ascent, but low cloud meant limited views on the ridge, until the final munro. Total time from car-back-to-car = 5h 54minmproudfoot01/05/2022

From parking area at Glen Shiel,up to Bealach na Lapain turning East along the ridge taking in Saileag/Sgurr a Bhealaich Dheirg/Aonach Meadhoin. Descended over Sgurr an Fhuarail & the 843m top before aiming for the edge of the forestry to the SW & the A87. Then a 3 & a half mile tab along the road back to the car. On own.MorecambeMonkey26/06/2014
From Glenshiel: Up to the Bealach na Lapain, then Saileag and back, Sgurr nan Spainteach, Sgurr na Ciste Dubh, Sgurr na Carnach and Sgurr Fhuran. Dropped down to Shiel Bridge. Hitched back to the start.jigglybones30/05/2014
Done solo. Mostly bright. Some low cloud. Started at the same layby for those doing the Five. sisters. Ignore the path as it goes too far west. Go straight up or even slightly right . There is no path.Aimless Rambler28/05/2014
Parked at approx NH 055 115 at the edge of the plantation and used path up Coire Tholl Bhruach. Needed to double back but far better to start here then a long boring walk on a road.Jhimmy16/05/2014
Last of the 3 munros on the ridge. Straight-forward ascent from the col to the East. The descent south to the road is steep, wet and generally unpleasant. The path down is further East than you expectwychwood26/03/2014
With Hannah on 5 Sisters Ridge Desperate Stan20/07/2013
I did this as a round by climbing Meall a' Charra then traversing the hillside to get onto Saileag, not very pleasant. If you have two cars it's much better to climb to Bealach an Lapain and do a simple ridge walk ending at Cluanie.steveroberts13/07/2013
