Accessed from the Glen Affric Youth Hostel, hiked in from Glen Affric Car Park with on Friday 6th September with Alex McBride. On Saturday 7th September, Alex and I bagged the three Munros to the north of the Hostel, Mullach na Dheiragain (982m), Sgurr nan Ceathramhnan (1151m) and An Socach (921m). It was sunny all day with only a few clouds visible. The views were great, particular of Ben Nevis to the south, Torridon to the north, the Cullin Ridge and Skye Bridge to the west. 11:10 hours all in.chillyman807/09/2019

Climbed solo. Cycle from Glen Affric Hostel to Allt Coire Ghaidheil bridge. Stalkers path to Bealach Coire Ghaidheil. Rugged but straightforward ridge walk over An Socach N top, An Socach, An Socach W top, Stob Coire na Cloiche, Stob Coire nan Dearcag, Sgurr nan Ceathreamhnan E top to Sgurr nan Ceathreamhnan main summit. The latter is a superlative mountain - vast, complex, remote and with a nice pointy peak! Returned to Bealach Coire na Cloiche, and thence down fine stalkers path to the hostel. Weather was fine with morning mist clearing to give a fine afternoon with far-ranging views from all summits. Caught in a heavy shower on descent around 6pm. Time ~ 8 hours.jamessteel10020/08/2016

Staying with friends at Strawberry Cottage With one of them I set off on the track going westwards and went to the youth hostel at Alltbeithe. Here we drank tea with the warden, Jill. She was due to leave at the weekend when the hostel would close for the winter. We then walked up the stalkers' path that goes up on the east side of Allt na Faing to the col at NH079228 (lunch). We followed the ridge generally westward to Stob Coire na Cloiche (now a Munro top). We continued along the ridge to Sgùrr nan Ceathreamhnan and descended over Beinn-an t-Socaich.pwbellarby25/10/2006

Solo from the outdoor centre near Morvich on a sunny & hot day. Over Bealach an Sgairne, rounded end of Loch a'Bhealaich & then stupidly traversed under summit of Sgurr Gaorsaic which meant another trip some years later. Up S spur to Sgurr nan Ceathreamhnan W top & then the main summit. Then the out & back to Mullach na Dheiragain which did provide some fine views. Turned E along the ridge as far as An Socach. Then dropped down to the youth hostel & the very pleasant walk back out to Morvich.NotReallyABagger30/08/2001
