Super route with great views. Used the land rover track and stalkers path on my ancient map. Saw ptarmigan, TGO challengers, a frog and two stags with buds for their new antlers.GWR Chris12/05/2017

Solo. I planned to cross the river near Achnashellach, thinking to make a circuit to include Sgrr na Feartaig. However, I found the bridge, marked on OS 1:50,000 map over River Carron, was not there any more! (GR011482). Instead I walked from Craig, crossing LC and following track through forest on NE side of Allt a Chonais. Used a good stalkers path which passes near summit of Sgrr na Fertaig and then to summit. The cairn is quite large, on a pile of boulders. Returned same way.pwbellarby11/06/1994
