From small parking area at head of Loch Monar (NH204394). Good paths as mapped to NH173429. Easy climb to An Sithean, out and almost back to Sgurr Coire nan Eun, on to Meall Dubh na Caoidhe via excellent bealach Clach Chomharraidh. Descended to pick up good path at NH191432 and path all way back to car - great walkcarole engel06/07/2023

At the Strathfarrar glen gate at 9.15. The gatekeeper told me I was the fourth person of the day to get access. Parked just before the dam. Followed the standard route up and down (as per walkhighlands). On what was supposed to be a reasonably dry and bright albeit rather breezy day, got caught in an unpleasant 30 minute squall coming off the top. With the cloud down on all the surrounding high tops there wasn't any reason to hang around, so made good time up and down the excellent stalkers path and the pathless but mostly good ground higher up.Owen B20/09/2021
