From entrance to track to Hilton Farm but at bend went right and across field edges avoiding the farm. | Adrian | 16/05/2022 |
From Portmahomack car park as others, very muddy field | grumpy | 13/02/2022 |
From Portmahomack shoreline. | willyross | 13/11/2021 |
Circuit from Portmahomack. I don't think that I've ever seen such a well vegetated covered reservoir. I actually had to look hard to see the trig on the small roof. The high point in the stubble field was disappointing in comparison | Colin Crawford | 15/09/2020 |
7 of 7: Parked at the road end CP in Portmahomack. Started on the coast path, then up to the higher path. Through a gate and up a track to the farm. Through another gate and a short overgrown track leads to the mast and trig point. The TP mound is obviously much higher than the HP in the field. I went there anyway to photo the mound better. Presumably it's because the mound is artificial (but then Cadboll Mount is an old folly). | ChrisR | 20/08/2019 |
Via Hilton Farm from SW | jimbloomer | 09/05/2019 |
Presumed trig was the highpoint so didn't check out the natural HP.

TP:UK log:

As per Jon Glew's log. Parked at the farm and walked up. Trig sits on a covered water tank but cannot be seen from the farm track due to an outgrowth of gorse. Easy enough to spot once up on top of the water tank. | thejackrustles | 11/08/2018 |
Parked at the farm (Hilton). Hilton Resr trig pillar first then out into arable field on tractor lines to nonedescript HP. With Carle Engel, on a damp day. | jonglew | 03/04/2018 |
Clockwise circuit from Portmahomack. | Smudge | 24/12/2017 |
More of a (man-made?) bump than a hill and more gorse and nettles than broom. Take thick trousers and a sense of humour. | summitter | 30/09/2017 |
From Portmahommack. Do not use coast path as it gets very muddy to get on ridge. Go from the soccer pitch to SW. Top is for sale. | Thearlaichdubh | 21/05/2017 |
