From start of track to reservoir at NS274900. Solo. Warning signs and sight of three bulls caused me to deviate into the field to the east of the track. From near reservoir easy climb to the summit of Beinn Chaorach. Weather really nice so excellent long distance views to Arran and Ailsa Craig. Went over Beinn Tharsuinn and on a track towards Auchengaich Hill before descending down to the reservoir track. Met another walker who assured me the bulls were docile so used the track all the way to the car. The bulls did not budge at all!pwbellarby30/04/2018

With Jenx, from the head of Glen Luss road, walked the old track all the way to the lonely farm that was Gleann na Caorainn. Followed the Scottish Rights of way track up to col and hacked up the fenceline to summit of a'Mhanaich. Back over neighbouring Graham Beinn Chaorach steeply and out down the top line into the Glen and out all way to Luss village, a good walk.nordicstar08/10/2015

Beinn Odhar & Beinn Chaorach S/F NN330316 Cold, bright clear winter day on snow covered hills. Second ascent tiring in snow, so slower than anticipated. Planned route of discent into Crom Allt was observed to be very icy on ascent, and probably unsafe in failing light. Used alternative route of discent along S ridge of Beinn Chaorach to raod at NN348288. Bit late back to car but safe.John Young01/01/2006
