More or less due N from Muchrachd. Path at start up initial seteep slopes and round the left of pt 496m (1:25K map). It then disappeared under the snow. Then anti-clockwise over 3 Simms.Minto14/01/2024
Parked on north side of bridge, just before private road to Muchrachd. Good path uphill to cairned prominence at 496m. Continued up in the snow to the rocky summit. Scrambling up both iced-up rock tors was easier than it looked. With Jill & Minto.Dangerous Dave14/01/2024
Parked NH 2831 3341 (discouraged but pulled in behind workers van). Did not find feint path to point 496mbut from there some excellent deer trods. Climbed both rocky tops to be sure. Returned to point 496, again following deer trods to eventually leave good path thru' bracken at NH 28150 33756 (best way up from here)carole engel03/07/2023
With Gordon, Rhona and Struie from parking space w of Dalriach bridge. Glen Cannich. Lovely clear day - snow above 2000ft but powder and easy walking. Could see Cairngorms, Ben Nevis and many more. Great day and not too long a walking day. 5 hrs at a leisurely pace, with breaks and quite a bit of time on the summit.DampandDusty10/03/2023
Parked at large grassy area before bridge. Lots of cattle just over the bridge, including a bull munching, so I had to start a wee bit to the left. Seemed like a long pull to the twin horns on top with little in the way of tracks. Easy scrambles but very breezy so didn't do any dancing on top. Great views. One of my favourite Corbetts.Jhimmy09/06/2022
With John from Glen Cannich. Bit of a soggy hill, various paths up and down and we just loosely followed our own route up and down - cool conditions but the air was clear, so the views in all directions were excellent. 3h 35min total time with a wee lunch stop on the top (watching paragliders over Glen Cannich).mproudfoot10/04/2022
Parked at Muchrachd just prior to bridge. Lovely walk up. Enjoyed both summits. Excellent views. Tad windy on top. Plenty of snow patches at 700m and over.iandesbottes08/03/2022

W top then main top - P near bridge (Muchrachd). With Bolton & John F. Both nice hills, especially the Corbett with its two tors. Ascent took longer than expected.ger13/07/2021
With Reg and Phil. Rather warm, and flies a nuisance but virtually no midges. A lovely summit.Jon F13/07/2021
From parking at the bridge at Muchrachd. After the West Top a short and pleasant walk to this rocky summit. Great views of Strathfarrar. Descended to the path that we found when going up. With Ger and Jon F.bolton13/07/2021
From Muchrachd. Usual route, straight up and down. Traces of path most of the way, but impossible to follow completely through the tussocky grass and heather, especially higher up in the mist. The summit scramble is very easy even in mist with damp rock.Owen B24/06/2021
Strathcannich. Muchrachd Br. north to Sgorr na Diollaid 818m then spot 777m, spot 713m, An Soutar 680m, Allt Charaidh & Muchrachd Br. Sunny intervals with light showers & a moderate cold wind.Vin14/06/2021

Parked at bridge, partial track from the shoulder of Mam Charaidh towards the W.top. Sunny, warm and excellent views. Met a person! First one in 110 days.iangalbraith12/07/2020
Parked by bridge at Muchrachd. Small path leads up to 496m spot height. Mostly pathless from there to the attractive summit tor. Back the same way.davidpettit8426/05/2019

With M. From Glen Cannich. Mostly dry, a bit midgy. Steep ascent, some fun scrambling at the top.douglas_easton17/06/2018
glen affric such a beautiful place but i find the hills here steep wet and pathless .parked just before the bridge and walked up a very wet and muddy coo path (farm near by)once over carn doir leithe look to the sky line there is a prominent boulder head for it and if your lucky you may pick up a deer highway if not the day is pathless boggy wet and hard going, well i thought so to me the hill was a triangle up up up down down down although closer to the top was a toblerone short steep bits short down bits , small scramble at the top .. the day was wet windy and slippymikebeattie31/10/2017
Straightforward out & back from the South. With Rod & Theresa.MorecambeMonkey12/05/2017
From Muchrachd - A four hour trackless bogfest, but the views from the Corbett summit were fantastic.Crib Goch21/10/2016
Parked at 29574/33765. Walked about 0.7km east to start at Craskie. After Sgorr na Diollaid went to Carn Gorm and back to Craskie via 638m pt.duchally21/10/2016
From Muchrachd and up to small col between the twin summits. From here the west summit is a cinch. The east summit is a short scramble but there is no exposure and there are plenty of holds. From the east the east summit is a cinch. On to Gorm.Topographer5720/09/2016

Parked before bridge at Muchrachd. Sat in the car for an hour on arrival with torrential rain which eventually eased. Humid thereafter. Pretty rough, pathless ground and featureless hill until the summit which is very good. Fine views of the big hills Affric and Strathfarrar.benalder28422/05/2016

Up & down from near Muchrachd with J. J doesn't like heights but she was up & down the easy scramble at the top before I'd managed to get the camera out! Breezy but dry day with good views & enough snow in patches to muck about on.NotReallyABagger13/05/2015
perfect day with great views till cloud rolled in from the East about 10.30.oatcake19/04/2015
From Muckrachd on strange weather day. Sometimes almost hot sun, sometimes in almost white-out conditions. Lots of lovely firm snow higher up. Great for bagging all the Sims. Favourite hill of year, so far.Martin R06/01/2015

W Jenx from Muchrachd track in Glen Cannich in steamy hot weather. Up rough ground to Diollard W top, then superb Diollard summit. On to Carn Gorm summit and two tops. Back down to Craskie via awful line in bracken and dense pine forest. Glad not ascending this way. Along pleasant old track to start and fine dip to cool off in river.nordicstar12/08/2012
My first Corbett in 21 months - after having very badly sprained my ankle in June 2011. So great to be back on the hill. Beautiful views down StrathfararChrissy17/07/2012
9.20 start. Sunny spells with colds winds. Only 2 distant walkers seen all day. Brilliant rocky summit with fantastic views to the west. 4hrs 30minsgercal5306/05/2012

After driving from M&D's & shopping at Tesco 24 (A96/A9), then visiting Inverness centre & Costa, drove down to Cannich for this hill, on a superb clear day - light a bit flat but reasonable views of surrounding hills (digital photos checked 21h27). No running on this hill as recovering fr road run.NorfolkPT2125/07/2011
