Full west to east traverse, including two Munroes and all three horns solo. Easy scrambling. No stalking issues as NTS, landowners, don’t allow stalking. Parked at free carpark to west of bridge, north of Torridon House. Start at unmarked path to west of bridge. The marked path to the east of the bridge was my descent route . The ascent path to Tom na Gruagaich is obvious, stile over deer fence, improved in places but steep and sometimes muddy. There’s no scrambling. On top is a stone built trig with a flush bracket. Unfortunately, I had ascended into cloud. I continued along the ridge, scrambling down to the col, then ascended in improving visibility to Sgurr Mhor, the second Munro. I included the HHB p 26 m west top with small cairn By now the cloud had lifted and the Horns of Alligin , although lower , are the best part. Easy scrambling and route finding. Good improved descent path follows nose.Denise 15/09/2023

Up to Tom na Gruagaich I was lucky as top 50 metres was above the cloud. Superb views across a sea of white to any high summits. Back into the clag on route to Sgurr Mir but again top was clear and I had both summits to myself. Headed down and over the Horns and back to the car. Amazing early morning walk. Time taken 5 hours 15 minutes including a lot of stops. Distance 7 miles for 3672 feet of ascent.isabelle05/06/2023
With Eve. Started early from Beinn Alligin car park to climb up in the cool morning. It was beautifully sunny and the high April sun would heat us up later on in the day. It was clear all day and the visilibity was excellent. After our gradual climb up the coire, an astounding panorama suddenly opened up in the most breathtaking moment I ever felt in the hills.RufusHodge08/04/2023
2/2 reversed route from Sgurr Mor. By now early evening - crowds had dispersed and had summit to myself. Weather held. Fab views of Torridon 'giants' from herewychwood25/03/2023

With Harrison - anticlockwise route covering the horns and both munro summits. Started cloudy but warm with almost no wind (midge-fest) - claggy on the horns but cleared to blue skies by the time we reached Sgurr Mhor summit. Easy scrambling but somewhat exposed in a few places. Descent from Tom na Gruagaich down to the car park is quick, but brutal on the knees.mproudfoot24/07/2020
Most beautiful day on the hills so far. So lucky to have perfect conditions with virtually no wind, a powdering of snow and no cloud. a great day to be on the ridge.Nicky C30/10/2019
Walked from Torridon along the road until you come to first car park, then up to first Munro Tom na Gruagaich, then along to second Munro Sgurr Mhor and down via the Horns of Alligin. Weather, some heavy rain at first with fairly strong wind, before clearing on Sgurr Mhor and though some cloud still around, weather got better and better. Excellent walk.Fell_wanderer12/09/2019

Stats: 5hrs55, 11.2km, 1,297m ascent. Weather: hot & sunny. Notes: glorious scrambling along ‘the horns’ of Na Rathanan ridge; excellent views from Munros.millionmts07/09/2019
With Pauli and Nieves, who turned back after 1st Munro. Misty on all summits, clear on gaps between horns. Rounsfell30/05/2019
With: hb; From the car park, walked up Coire MhicNobaill, crossed the two bridges then scrambled up the south east ridge to the Horns (Na Rathanan). Supern scrambling over the horns in glorious sunshine, being followed by the beast od Alligin (a Collie which chose the stay with us rather than return to its owners who were half an hour behind us!). We descended to the bealach then walked up to Sgurr Mhor where we had lunch. We looked down impressive Eag Dhubh (Black cleft) on the path across to Tom nan Gruagaich. The descent path down Coire nan Laogh was tedious but gave good views back to start. This was a superb walk after so much rain. The paths have changed out of all recognition since my first visit in 1978.Ian Baines29/05/2019
With: ib; Walked up Coire MhicNobaill, crossed the bridge & up SE ridge to Horns (Na Rathanan). Descend to col then up Sgurr Mhor. Looked down impressive Eag Dubh then to Tom nan Gruagaich. Descent down path to start. Superb walk after so much rain. Helen Baines29/05/2019
