Parked in layby S of Achnashellach station. Good path to the foot of the BLM ridge. Thereafter steep ascent on eroded path to reach BLM Far E top. Lovely ridge walk along to BLM E top and the main top, descending on cairned path to bealach, including some minor scrambling. Good path to Sgorr Ruadh, then free format descent down to the lochans to the SE and the path back to Achnashellach. Another long but enjoyable day with excellent views all round. With: hb; From Achnashellach Stn, up the Coire Lair path to the bealach then steeply west and the south east to the narrow summit of Sgorr Ruadh. We dropped south east to cross the wide and complex Bealach Mor in order to gain the path up Creag Mainnricheean, then over Mainreachan Buttress to the summit of Fuar Tholl. The River Lair was in spate so we dropped south west to Carn Eididh then southeast to the railway level crossing before walking back along the road to the start.Ian Baines27/05/2019

2nd munro of day. Much easier than 1st. Reaching summit easy but path down took a bit of finding and descent took longer than it looked. Slept on island in Loch Maree with wonderful views of Slioch. Indebted to Norman and Elspeth for all the paddling.dave neilson05/07/2018
Excellent day. Quite hard from the Bealach, very rocky and a bit of a scramble near the top. Great views. Too tired to bag the Corbett alas.Jhimmy06/06/2018

Solo fr Achnashellach via Beinn Liath Mhor; solid blue sky, clear tops, enough snow to decorate the hills! Frozen underfoot, a few treacherous bits before Sgorr Ruadh, and then most of way across and from Bealach Mor to landrover track, with frozen puddles and icy mud.NorfolkPT2114/02/2017

From the car park on the A 890 at Achnashellach at NH 00523 88360. Took the good path up Coire Earba, and branch path up to Bhealach Mhoir. Then worked my way over the rough ground to Loch Coire Lair and took grassy ramp up to join the east ridge, and west to the summit. Walk continued to Pt. 904m. Solo.Man of Kernow123/10/2016

2nd of 2. Got lost a bit in the mist and had a convoluted journey off the first Munro. Eventually sorted myself out at the belach before ascending to summit. Not great off this either until you get to the stalker path near the Corbett, then it's a doddle. 19.4km, 1530m, 8hr.bowzi13/10/2013
