Great views from the top. Returned from about 893443 by dropping steeply north and NE to the marked path before picking up the hydro road 917441 which leads to the museum by the main road. A short walk to the car at the bottom of the Tulloch road. With D. Dave and Helen B.bolton04/04/2024
Lovely area by the lochans on the way from Creag na h-Iolaire. Steep descent north to the small lochan from the lowest point on the ridge. Nice walk down the Glen to join the hydro road back to Tullich. With HB & PM.Dangerous Dave04/04/2024

Solo. Parked just off track on SE side of Loch a Loin at Glasnock and followed track NE before ascending through woods on track, on N side of Allt Beag. Track goes generally east but is little used, boggy, grassy-presumably because the track it joins ( Allt a Ghiuthlais appears excellent gravel ( cyclable) but only to the track junction! Then cut up steep grass between slabs via Cnoc n Creige to summit, latterly steep. Cairn on summit but alt hp to n visited. Descended SW along ridge into boggy valley to Cnoc nan Broc then NW directly down hill. Neither route hard but neither recommended- boggy, pathless and tedious but superb views in sunny weather. Stalking area. Kinlochdampf estate tel 07836 275607. friendly responseDenise 12/09/2023

West from Creag na-h-lolaire along wide ridge passing between lochans and a nice and easy gradual ascent to summit.Jossker16/06/2023

From the car park opposite the church; along road to Tullich and new hydro track to dam before crossing and picking my way up the ridge line N of Alt Dubh to Glas Bheinn. Ridge is steep but does go, with only one bit of minor scrambling. Lovely ridge traverse to Sgurr a'Gharaidh. Descent S over open moorland by Allt a'Chuirn to pick-up track on N side of Allt nan Carnan which was followed SE to join path at NG90011 41131 which heads down to the village. One of the better Grahams.benalder28401/04/2023

From the car park near golf club 1.5 km SW of Tullich. Followed the signed path a short way before leaving on a less clear track past the Tee for the 18th hole, this also was marked but not as obviously Once through the gate shortly after this picked my own way up the steep hillside to the trig point top. Then followed the ridge round overdickscroop07/05/2022
One of the best. From the pull off N of the bins at Loch an Loin. Onto the track, then immediately up the lovely short grass, ATV track to start, then easy peasy up to a gate, then link grass patches by limestone outcrops. Deer track above up through heather below Cnoc nam Broc to cross Allt na Criche once into the coire, then winding around bumps and crags along the excellent W ridge to the top, stunning views. Descended E then cut back to outflow of lochans into Allt Lochan Meall na Caillich where a rough track leads back to Cnoc nam Broc, short way further then down heather to rejoin grass. ATV track from gate to Glasnock.Gill29/04/2022

The Allt a' Chuirn horseshoe from the substation and cattle grid along the A896 to the south. Started with estate tracks until due south of Creag Dabaobh, then straight up through heather, grasses, moss and lichen to its top, going over a deer fence en route. On to Glas Bheinn's trig and summit cairn, then rocky outcrops to the impressive Creag na h-lolaire and Sgurr a' Ghairaidh. Easier terrain to take in the minor tops of Meall na Caillich and Carnan before rejoining the estate tracks and the car. A good day out without coming across a fellow hiker. 5hrs total.summitter22/03/2022

From Tullich by Lochcarron up to the Bealach, then as per SMC guide to summit. The ascent up to the ridge was scrambly, but a path wove through the crags. The lower part had paths, but they are often indistinct and intermittent.IanHHill06/08/2021

A896 parking by Loch an Loin through Coille Dubh to Bealach A Ghlas-Chnoic then thro' Nn.coire to Creag na h-lolaire, Glas Bheinn, trig point 711m & traverse to Sgurr a'Gharaidh then descent down WSW ridge to Loch an Loin. Fine bright cool clear day with sunny periods. Excellent views.Vin16/05/2021
MC O. From the hydro road to the south. Tricky crossing of the Abhainn BHuachaig on to old footpath. Ascent via steep corrie directly to summit. Not recommended. Good view of Kishorn from summit. Descent steeply down SE slopes. Picked up old, very overgrown footpath with markers by Tuloch House. One final lift of the dog over a cattle grid and a short walk along the road to the starting point.Martin6628/04/2021

W Malky and Jackie for summit camp. Rough lava route up from Glasnock, back via coire to N and track out. Bit midgy on top with mist flowing up low valleys. Great sunset. Very hot on ascent. Rounsfell15/08/2020

Through gate in fence just past first cottage and a further gate at top of field. Then a rough ascent SSE, picking up a line of fence posts leading to Lochan Meall na Caillich. Then NNE to final ridge. Galltywenallt18/07/2019
Up tree-lined gully from first house on Glasnock track (south side stream initially then north side, reached fence posts, followed to loch then headed for summit. Interesting hill, much easier than expected. Animal tracks most of the way.willyross07/05/2019

Up the west ridge, it's a rugged mountain but the ground is good. Back over 597m tump and on down to two small lochans from which a rough track leads down to Cnoc Nam Broic, then direct descent NW.Topographer5708/06/2018

Solo trip from Glasnock. The fence line running SE up to Creag Ghlas is probably the best line of ascent.Invicta1418/05/2018
