With Jenx from Hartfield Field Centre. Parking beside track outside. Cut up to forest edge above hospital then good deer tracks providing an uphill traverse under crags. Above a knoll a break in the hill allows easy access to the ridge, from there to summit is an easy walk. Back over the 5H top and down coire rim direct to track and back to start. Parked beyond Applecross in a car park by road. On road and onto gentle WDP crossing the brow of the hill. Over dry moor grass with small boulders. Steady plod uphill using large slabs to ease going to a prominent cairn at 10.40. On larger boiler plate slabs with many losses of height - one scarp needed a 500m detour - many lochans, also needing detours to get round. To top at 12.00. 12' dia 5' circular wind break around column 9801. Strong SE wind. My 1,100th Marilyn in Scotland.arranc11/09/2008
