Faffed about a bit to find best parking and settled for lay-by near box with electrical installation inside. A few minutes walk to HP, then track to Two Gates and back, where a maintenace van had arrived- good job we returned via the track! We then drove to the cross roads (SY 547944) and walked on the RoWs to the fort, exploring the S ramparts (magnificent) before going off the bw to visit the trig pt- easy exit via bbw gate to lane.pwheeler06/06/2023

Parked in the lay-by and wandered over to trig, then to what I believe is the highpoint by the hedge in the opposite field. I feel, as I parked adjacent to this that I may have cheated a little.....but I had just done a 10 mile walk so meh.......stagger onward30/08/2021

After visiting the trig on Saturday 28th I was told by the others that it wasn't the hump summit. Returned in the cloud and strong winds of Sunday morning.vegibagger29/03/2015
Revisit for natural HP. OS had an 'old trig' close to highest point of hedge SY 54728 94224 approx. However rather level field at c. SY 54766 94147 could be as high or higher.RHW28/03/2015
