From Carnmore, up stalkers path to north east, over Loch Feith Mhic-illean outlet, east up between A'M and RSM. A well trodden path then takes you to the summit.iangalbraith22/06/2023
5/6....straightforward ascent - view to W from summit is the perfect mountain viewpoint - people say it's a highlight of a Munro round - I agree. Lucky with weatherwychwood22/05/2023
Shenavall, 6.15 start, past Achneigie and up to Am Briseadh and on over Sgurr Ban, Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair and Beinn Tarsuinn to bealach at 525 meters. Up small path, steeply to start with then more gently to one of the most dramatic summits in Britain. On over Ruadh Stac Mor and down to Shenavall for 17.30. Back to Corrie Hallie for 20.30.Flatfield30/08/2022

Climbed NW ridge of A' Mhaighdean, visiting top of Carnan Ban, then A' Mhaighdean, descent SE then climb to Meallan nan Gobhar. Followed the rocky ridge of Beinn Tharsuinn Chaol climbing far E top, E top, Beinn Tharsuinn Chaol, W top, far W top and Stob Bealach a' Chuirn. Descended WNW and rejoined path back to Poolewe. Outstanding weather and views.RobertP06/06/2022

Solo round of six from wild camp near the Alder woods at around NH088788 - left the tent 5:30am straight into the most voracious cloud of midges I've ever encountered - headtorch on - fortunately the recent dry conditions had made the river easy to cross without taking boots off. Tough climb up the east side of Beinn a' Chlaidheimh, but above 500m, a light cool breeze kept the midges at bay (and me cool). That was definitely the toughest ascent of the day, but not the toughest part. The ascent up Sgurr Ban was fairly straight forward, the boulders were not terrible and the summit was soon reached (didn't even notice the shelter until I had passed it). At this point, the remaining summits were all covered in clag - but just as I descended to Cab Coire nan Clach bealach to head up the dusty path in the scree on Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair, the cloud cleared off. I bypassed Meall Garbh, and slowly headed up the grassy slops of Beinn Tarsuinn. Met a few other folk at the topmproudfoot04/09/2021

I had walked in to Carnmore bothy the previous afternoon/evening. I left the bothy at 7.15 am. initially there was a light breeze which kept the midges away, but it dropped to nothing almost immediately and I had the midge hat on as protection from the sun and midges effectively all day. I had made reasonable time to the point where the stalkers path branched off the main path to Shenevall, but I slowed down a lot thereafter and stopped lots of times in the heat. I met another walker descending from the col - he had camped at the lochan overnight and climbed Ruadh Stac Mor early. A combination of the heat, drinking and eating too little was slowing me down. I had a lunch stop between the col and A'Mhaighdean. I had planned to climb Ruadh Stac Mor first (lower, but steeper - to protect my knee). Fortunately, I had a change of plan and tackled A'Mhaighdean first - an easier slope although higher. I reached the Munro summit about 12.20 p.m.langskill02/08/2019

With James. Pleasant walk in from Poolewe - mountains clear. By the time we reached the top it was thick mist. While we walked in we met two folk who had failed to cross high streams - by the time we got there they had either dropped or we found a better spot.dal08/06/2015

Solo, 1st of 2. Parked up at Poolewe and then a cycle in, Kernsary Forest very boggy and a lot of pushing. Dropped bike before Causeway then it's a long slog to reach the belach between the Munros. I think I was around 7 hours to A'Mhaighdean.bowzi20/04/2014
2nd hill done in monster Fisherfield day out. Didn't make 3rd hill. No views so maybe just as well.akmilne29/08/2013
Done with Andy. Pea souper and the light made the 3rd a non-starter... still a good day out, huge walk out along the lochside and back to the bikes which made the final few miles bliss!FCMark29/08/2013
