After A'M, return to bealaich between munros. A fellow walker didn't fancy the scrambling so - returned to 012761 where the descending path has gone back up slightly. At this point the ascent to the munro is grass and stones, much less difficult. Onto summit plateau and turned east back up to the top.iangalbraith22/06/2023
6/6...tiring on this ascent - it's a bit scrambly. Summit and descent is boulderfields again. Underestimated the length of the walk back to Shenavall - took 3hrs20, with an overall time of 14 hours (min breaks). The route is quite dry - take plenty waterwychwood22/05/2023
Shenavall, start 6.15, up Strath na Sealga past Achneigie to Allt an Deabhaidh and diagonally up pathless ground to Am Briseadh. Up rough boulders to cairn on ridge and on through mist to brilliant sunshine above the clouds with only the summits of An Teallach and Slioch poking through at 9.57. Steeply down and up to Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair for 10.47 then down to good path contouring below Meall Garbh. Lost path up Beinn Tarsuinn until just below summit, 11.57. Lunch as the cloud began to break. Along ridge until path forked and took lower path contouring below ridge to steep path down to broad bealach at 525 meters. Up small path, at first steeply, then more gently to impressive summit of A'mheighdean. Over to north-east top and down to bealach. Then zig-zaged up to steep scree and easy scramble to summit, 15.00. North down ridge for 300 meters then east down grass and boulders to pas between the Lochan a'Bhraghads and pick up a small path beside the burn down to the good stalkFlatfield30/08/2022

Solo round of six from wild camp near the Alder woods at around NH088788 - left the tent 5:30am straight into the most voracious cloud of midges I've ever encountered - headtorch on - fortunately the recent dry conditions had made the river easy to cross without taking boots off. Tough climb up the east side of Beinn a' Chlaidheimh, but above 500m, a light cool breeze kept the midges at bay (and me cool). That was definitely the toughest ascent of the day, but not the toughest part. The ascent up Sgurr Ban was fairly straight forward, the boulders were not terrible and the summit was soon reached (didn't even notice the shelter until I had passed it). At this point, the remaining summits were all covered in clag - but just as I descended to Cab Coire nan Clach bealach to head up the dusty path in the scree on Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair, the cloud cleared off. I bypassed Meall Garbh, and slowly headed up the grassy slops of Beinn Tarsuinn. Met a few other folk at the topmproudfoot04/09/2021

A dull day but tops were cloud free. Steep ascent from col between the two Munros requires care as a slip could be fatal.Chris Terrey 31/08/2020

From the col I climbed a stony gully and then it was a short pull to the summit of Ruadh Stac Mor. I did not fancy descending the stony gully back to the col. Instead I headed north along the top of Ruadh Stac Mòr before turning east down a terraced slope towards Lochan a’ Bhràghad. I then contoured northwest below the northern end of Rudh Stac Mòr and across rough ground to the path to Shenavall. Once back on this excellent stalkers’ path I stopped for much needed refreshment. I was now back on my planned route and took my time walking back to the bothy.langskill02/08/2019

Fisherfield 6 from Corrie Hallie - a very long day!Geoff Briggs05/06/2018
Route up from the col looks rather improbable approaching from A' Mhaighdean! But becomes more obvious close up. Gully scramble towards the left of the band of crags.steveroberts27/05/2018

Big day out. Camped high up not realising how far we were from Sheneval! Weather not great. We had planned to do the circuit but by the time we reached this hill the weather had turned pretty bad so we decided bagging this was enough for the day....akmilne30/05/2017

With James. Pleasant walk in from Poolewe - mountains clear. By the time we reached the top it was thick mist. While we walked in we met two folk who had failed to cross high streams - by the time we got there they had either dropped or we found a better spot.dal08/06/2015
With David Stevenson and Sandy ( part of the way ). Walked into Carmore the night before ( 4 hrs ) and opted to stay in the stable due to poor weather forecast. Overnight and early morning rain made for a late start and we got going around mid day . Weather steadily improved however and after leaving Sandy at the bealach ( 8 days of walking having taken their toll) we managed the munros with litttle problems . Fantastic views of the Fisherfield with great view and 2 cloud free tops. Main issue was getting up onto RSM - opted to walk north and then onto the north ridge but a direct approach might have been more sensible. Weather - cold with hail and sleet flurries.slynch31/05/2015
