Straight up Cnoc a' Bhaid-rallaich from the end of the road, up its W top and on to Ghobhlach, returning via Coire Dearg and the excellent coastal track.sclater04/03/2024
Solo. From top of road and out west. Quite good going. This allowed the ridge walk to the summit. Nice!garbo110326/07/2023
Badrallach - rising traverse NW - east up ridge to Cnoc a' Bhaid-rallaich - bealach - Beinn Ghobhlach - around Coire Dearg - coast pathdavidpettit8430/05/2023
From quarry parking before road highpoint. Over moorland then steady slope to summit. Fine views, cold east wind short walk. Drove down to Beinn a' Chaoinich much further south, Glenelg for afternoon.N.Morters05/05/2023
I had planned on heading up An Teallach today, but a late start and an unforecasted band of cloud, made me settle on Beinn Ghobhlach (635m), a Fiona. Started at a Quarry east if the high point of the unclassified road, NH 0989 9163. Crossed the bog and ascended Cnoc a' Bhaid-rallaich, then the spot height of 517m to the west, before dropping down and then ascending Beinn Ghobhlach from the ESE. Great views in all directions, especially of An Teallach to the south. I descended to Badrallach and was able to beg a lift back to my car, probably saving me 1.5hrs walk back up the road......chillyman822/04/2023
From end of public road. Walked on for 1.7k before heading up between the 2 lochans and on to Beinnn Ghobhlach. Dropped down and up to the West Top then across to here. Down to the road and 400m along to the car.jonglew01/12/2022

A stunner of a hill for my final mainland Marilyn, walked as a ridge traverse rather than a typical baggers' out and back. Steep climb up very easy, dry ground from the Scoraig track, picking a line where the heather was much shorter than at Badrallach road end. Up to the bealach E of the 338m cairn, then a beautiful walk along the ridge, lovely lochans, many sandstone crags, beautiful views. I could see all my favourite hills from the top. Continued E to pt 506, lovely walking, lovely views, then easy enough descent to the road, except for one exposed step above a crag and some sh1te ground on the difficult side of the burn leading to the 75m spot height at the road. Back along the road is pleasant enough. A proper mini mountain.Gill29/11/2022
Came up from Badrallach via the 517m West Top. Solo.Dangerous Dave23/09/2022
Nice and dry but still rather a slog. Would be murder in 'normal' ground conditions. Good views though.nicolajane08/05/2022

Directly up from public road end. Then on to Beinn Ghobhlach. Return between two larger lochs southward then SE to Scoraig path and back to car. Just over 4 hours for round trip.willyross05/03/2021
From the road end. Up to the west col 063931, a typical pathless grassy/heathery slope, I've done much worse. Lovely bouldery sandstone top. Then on to Beinn Ghobhlach.Owen B31/08/2019

Glasgow/ Lancaster and MMC Ullapool outing. All 8 of us as this was the windiest day. Great coastal views of the Summer Isles. Massive winds on the shoulder before the main top. Did the Marilyn in bright sunshine. 5 1/2 hours.alexmaclennan24/03/2019
From Beinn Ghobhlach. Descended direct to car at road end. Descent via the lochs may be more interesting.mindlessflogger19/12/2018

From dogleg in minor road to the east, pathless tramp across wet moorland. Chose this more gradual ascent rather than a steep direct ascent from the south. NB lovely spot for campervan just before bend.AndrewFinnimore19/04/2016
MC DS MH IS. Climbed after Beinn Ghobhlach. Very wet and slimy ground. Great views as far north as Ben Hee (?). An Teallach under cloud most of the day although B. Dearg Beag visible, as well as B Dearg group and the Fannichs. Good viewpoint.Martin6629/12/2015

With a friend. From short of Badrallach near standing stone. We struck up the hillside to reach the summit of Cnoc a Bhaid-rallaich. It was cold in a strong wind. Descended to the east end of Loch a' Bhealaich and climbed up to the summit of Beinn Ghobhlach. Descended, crossing the burn below Loch a' Bhealaich and across and up cliffs above Loch na Coireig. We passed a small lochan and then descended to Badrallach.pwbellarby22/05/2007
from Ghoblach. Gentle stroll down on sandy patches, grey stones and grass. White tailed eagle floated past below me on massive wings not moving once all the time it was in sight. To bealach for 3/4m crossing to lower part of next hill. Stroll up over more stiff grass and final boulder tower to top at 14.25. An Teallach, Sail Mhor, Little Loch Broom, Chaisgein Beag, Outer Hebs, Ghobhlach, B M Coigach, Ardmair Point, Loch Broom and B nam Ban.arranc29/06/2005
With Shaky from Badrallach. On a cloudy day, climbed more or less straight up the slope to the summit of Cnoc a'Bhaid-rallaich for a good view. Then made our way over to Beinn Ghobhlach by Loch a'Bhealaich for an even better view. Descended W for a short way & then aimed for the gap between Loch na h-Uidhe & Loch na Coireig over rough heathery ground. Up to the cairn at pt. 338m & then down to join the track above Little Loch Broom back to the start.NotReallyABagger01/05/2005
