Last hill of the afternoon after a trip to Erraid and some Tumps on The Ross. Solo. | Dangerous Dave | 02/06/2023 |
Easy walk up from village. Interesting to see the now deserted quarry | Hirta | 12/10/2021 |
From road bend to west, along track to the south of hill, then up. To HP. | PeterD | 25/05/2019 |
After 10432 Ross of Mull. Fionnphort road to junction before Toba Bhreaca, right on to track for Pottie, round east end of the hill. Through large gate before farm, then through small gate and gap in fence on left at about NM 324217. Rough path uphill through trees to ridge, then west to top - probably to service TV aerial by summit before satellite dish installed at Pottie farm. Part of aerial still upright by smaller boulder close to summit. WARNING: rest of aerial, with bits of barbed wire and fence post, half-hidden in the grass. Sunshine warmer, good views to Iona, etc. Back down to Pottie, then farm road to A849 for Fionnphort and bus to Craignure. | mainnirnamfiadh | 10/10/2016 |
First of the day (and 3rd Torr Mor in as many days): too stormy for boating. From WSW, locked gate, good track, soggy ascent, a couple of rocky summits. Then to Knockvologan for Tumps to its SE. | RHW | 31/05/2015 |
