Cycled round the base of the dunes, on the nice easy grassy track, up fairly high on the slopes and up to the seat at the memorial and the view at summit. In my view it is the best view on the Island just a stunning clear day could see Jura Paps, Outer Hebrides, touch Rhum, and all of Mull.nickywood121/04/2022

Parked at the RSPB car park and walked through the dunes from Cnoc Carpach, avoiding the cattle and bull on the track, and up to the summit. Fantastic view point, with views along the coast and out to Tiree.LizH23/08/2019

Evening ascent from camp on slopes of the west top. Proper hill walk , only 1:12 scale, Coll is a land of giants if you dont adjust to the wee hills. Very fine view from summit over Tiree and up the coast towards Rum. Stayed high most of the evening due to wind failure and midge attacks at base. Enjoyed a sunset behind Vatersay and the wind returned. The hill suffers a bit from 4*4 ascents. A couple of the sods on top during the evening.fasgadh02/08/2019

Along the track from the RSPB car park below Cnoc Carpach, which leads almost to the summit. Down eastwards and round the head of Port an t-Saoir, aiming to pick up the track to Arileod, but missed it somehow and stumbled through bog and barbed wire before reaching the road well north of Arileod. Impressive waves rolling in from the Atlantic, though.mainnirnamfiadh08/10/2015
