Logged Descriptions  (logged by 12 users)ByDate of Ascent
From Arinagour by packraft. Landed at inlet below hill with a short ascent. Also visited the trig nearby.fasgadh08/06/2023
Crossed tidal burn on a boulder barrier at NM 2240 5825. Picked up a trod after a while, then a grass vehicle track to Airidh Mhaoraich, passed that on its W side, then another trod to the top. Trig bolt on another slab outcrop SW of the summit slab. Final Coll & Tiree hill.jonglew14/09/2022
2/3 Parked bike at col of the road, then walked down to the Causeway, crossed and slogged up to the top of Carn Loch Fada and worked our way over to Meall Eatharna which is at the mouth of the estuary, all very tiring work but at least dry shod. Then a more pleasant stroll back by the shore past the cottage which inspired the Katie Morag Books, and back over causeway, then found the energy to do this last hill at Carnan Mora which was again fairly sapping on the legs. Last hill of the holiday and only one got away (Cnocan na Ban). So we will have to come back and it will be a pleasure.nickywood123/04/2022

Walked over from Carn Loch Fada, keeping to higher ground where possible. Past the south point of Loch Urbhaig and across to the summit. Fabulous view point. Returned on a path to Airidh Mhaoraich, walking around the property to the vehicle track, which goes to the shore a little further along. Continued on smaller paths, past some boggy bits, back to the crossing point.LizH24/08/2019

To cross dry shod, you need to use the stepping stones slightly N of the big white house, then it is a rough thrash through bog and broken ground to the summitThearlaichdubh01/09/2018
Walked from ferry to track at NM 223579. Tide out, so crossed head of loch on sand and walked down beach before joining track to Airidh Mhaoraich. Then rough paths most of way to top. Sun, sea, and islands in view – sweep of over 180° from Rùm past Mull to Tiree. Back down past Airidh Mhaoraich and north to fence at NM 227581, making for Càrn Loch Fada.mainnirnamfiadh01/06/2016
OS bolt SW of summit.chalky195306/11/2015
With Carn Loch fada from Arinagour. Crossed back at low tide just above the water line (hard underfoot).jimbloomer21/06/2015
From ford at NM22515806, decent path follows N shore past small cottage to summit. 1-inch OS bolt in slabby outcrop 11m SW of highest point. Day spent in the south part of the island but just time to sneak this one in before a pint and meal in the Coll Hotel. RHW24/08/2013
