18 mile return paddle from Arinagour. Tough bash up against F4 wind and tide. The heather and brambles were a slog too. | AndyS | 21/04/2023 |
By kayak from sandy beach at Sorisdale in calm sunny conditions. Landed on small rocky inlet on west side.Rough terrain- no recent sheep grazing- but short distance to summit cairn. Visited central island of Torra Moine on return with white sand beach. Accompanied by seals - quite delightful trip. | Denise | 14/05/2019 |
By kayak from Sorisdale Bay (short portage from parking area) | RichardM | 14/05/2019 |
Easy little hill with nervous Frazer from Tiree Sea Tours. If it is not calm don't expect to land. Lots of vegetation. | Thearlaichdubh | 01/09/2018 |
Landed on rocks near SW corner (NM 2773 6490). Day trip from Tiree with Frazer MacInnes, Tiree Sea Tours. Rough and uneven ground with deep and varied vegetation: heather, bracken, bramble, stunted woody plants - bit of a challenge. 35m spot height first, then on to the clear summit, estimated to be at least 2m higher. | jonglew | 01/09/2018 |
Bagged from Tiree using Tiree Sea Tours. Deep vegetation on island. Went to spot height then continued to summit cairn that Rob Woodall mentions. | assynt_bob | 01/09/2018 |
Day charter from Tobermory with sealifesurveys. Easy landing on weedy rocks near SW corner of island. Summit isn't 35m spot height but cairn in centre of island 1-2m higher. | RHW | 06/05/2013 |
