Kayak from Arisaig with Pete and Dave.AndyS12/05/2023
Best to email in advance for kayak hire. Owner Owain very obliging and opened the shop after closing time of 14:00 to get us on the water. Be prepared for wet feet and a soggy bottom. Crossing the channel was very calm, even though waves were crashing into the rocks elsewhere. Landed at N end and walked the length to summit.Minto07/04/2023
Hired kayaks from Eigg Adventures for £20 each. With Jill & Minto.Dangerous Dave07/04/2023
On trip organised by Sarah and Bob Kerr and made possible by North Coast Sea Tours. Stopped for lunch on Eigg and hopped across. Lovely little hill with a grave on top of it.Thearlaichdubh27/04/2019
Fell off the kayak into the drink. Wet walk to summit. Grave of Robert Laurie Thomson, landowner of Eigg, Muck and a bit of Skye. All can be seen from his resting place. Evidently he was a decent landowner and was well respected by his tenants, unlike others who followed him. Uneventful crossing on return.Campbell Singer02/05/2018
We managed to capsize the tandem kayak on entering the water. This resulted in a soggy ascent. No mishaps on return journey.Jemma Singer02/05/2018
Kayak across the very short distance from Eigg.chalky195321/08/2017
First to Oigh-sgeir, wonderfully remote romantic lighthouse. Then here, landed E side, just NE of (another!) lighthouse. Nice mini-stack SE of island HP an easy scramble en route. Then to E nan Each off Muck. Group charter on Coastal Connection RIB out of Oban.RHW09/06/2015
Twelve were landed on Eilean Chathastail by Coastal Connection after a RIB ride out from Oban on a sunny, calm day. The summit of Maol an Eilean has a grave for Robert Lawrie Thomson in a walled raised enclosure.Dugswell209/06/2015
Travelled all the way from Oban. Shame summit marred by large grave. Great views of Eigg.Martin R09/06/2015
