From Glais Bheinn - bog n rock. | summitter | 06/04/2019 |
With permission, drove to the first hydro dam but locked chain prevented further progress due to miscommunication about keys. No worries, this allowed a round of An Sleaghach, Mam a' Chullaich and Glais Bheinn. To Loch Tearnait, then hydro track and good deer tracks up the Allt Dubh Doire Thearnait gave easy going. The ridge walk is recommended. Fairly easy going (compared with the awful Beinn a'Chaisil) weaving around and over many small bumps; good views all the way. Glais Bheinn is well worth while, and an ATV track takes you back to the hydro road. | Gill | 02/06/2018 |
