Solo out & back from Meall nan Ceapraichen whilst Pete began the descent to the car at the A835. Patches of sun! Had to run most of the descent down to the valley floor in order to catch up.millionmts30/08/2022

Roasting day hitting the Beinn Dearg four (including top Ceann Garbh) with John. 17.5 miles, just under 9 hours. The midges were relentless in the morning even as far as the first summit Dearg but by mid-afternoon (and after the second munro), it was too hot even for them.mproudfoot15/08/2020
Solo fr Inverlael, mostly running. Well-broken cloud and sunshine, but still a strong wind. A few patches of old snow!NorfolkPT2108/08/2020

Climbed as part of the Beinn Dearg group, from Inverlael forest. Biked up a track as far as the edge of the trees, then bagged Eididh nan Clach Geala (926m), Meall nan Ceapraichean (977m), Cona' Mheall (977m) and Beinn Dearg (1084m). Beinn Dearg is my 50th Munro this year (there was a couple of Corbetts, Grahams & Donalds too) and 100th since August 2016.chillyman813/10/2019
