Circular walk from the parking space on the B8043 SW of Lochan Doire a'Bhraghaid, mostly using deer trod routes where available. Quickly up to Torr an Fhiuch, then slightly longer trek over to Torr an Fhamhair. NE ridge down to the rocky beach of Port a'Ghearain then over a marshy area onto the grassy slopes of Cnoc Smuidean. NW to a deer fence and then straightforward stretch along the south bank of the River Tarbert back to the road. 1.5hrs. | summitter | 24/02/2023 |
From Torr am Fannhair. involving steep rough descent. Pleasant summit. | Campbell Singer | 12/05/2022 |
Parked at 92815 58758, and followed a deer track to Lochan Torr an Fhamhair, then through boggy, tussocky, long grass and up through heather and grass to Torr an Fhamhair. Great views, lovely day. Went a little way SW, then steeply down to the old birch wood (more tussocky grass) and across to Torr an Fhiuch. Returned east of Lochan Doire a'Bhraghaid. | LizH | 31/12/2019 |
