Logged Descriptions  (logged by 10 users)ByDate of Ascent
As per 49pp below. The new OS map indicates a decent track around the southern side of the hill. The reality is an old seldom used footpath but easy enough.Followed it to a few metres before a sharp 90 degree left hand bend at around 969 821 where you can spy open ground above. Can second his opinion of the ascent from there ! Probably better doing it from the road . Came down that way and it is a bit tiresome but preferable to the southern aspect.ARM02/03/2024
A new forest road gets you half way there but the remainder is through wet, spongy tussocks. Decent viewpointColin Crawford16/01/2022

On way back from Marilyn. Took rough track W at 975822 (marked on 1:25). Short ascent from end of track though horribly rough terrain. Then escape N from summit to track.49pp13/05/2021
