As per 49pp below.The new OS map indicates a decent track around the southern side of the hill.The reality is an old seldom used footpath but easy enough.Followed it to a few metres before a sharp 90 degree left hand bend at around 969 821 where you can spy open ground above. Can second his opinion of the ascent from there ! Probably better doing it from the road . Came down that way and it is a bit tiresome but preferable to the southern aspect. | ARM | 02/03/2024 |
