Best to start from the farm track at 856 076. Wee cairn at the summit, lovely hill. | DavieRuts | 19/06/2022 |
After Cnoc Gleann Bàn. Gleann Bàn LRT to high point, ATV track rightwards to ridge, rough pasture leftwards to summit. Sunny and very mild (this was the day of the highest winter temperature in Britain since at least 1878). Very hazy: visibility only a few miles. Discovered GPS instrument missing when aiming to take summit reading, so return to Cnoc Gleann Bàn to retrieve it, then back to Creag nam Fitheach to take reading. Down to Gleann Bàn, LRTs to near Barnlunich, farm road to near Barbreck House, across bridge to join road back to A816 for bus to Oban. | mainnirnamfiadh | 26/02/2019 |
