Bus from Oban to Kames Farm road end. Sunny to start with; cloud increasing during day. Past farm and up forestry tracks through woods (some recent felling higher up) as far as about 8277 1037. Southwards along narrow ride as far as wooden hut about 8287 1027, then rightwards up (steeply and slowly) through trees. Visited both GRs listed in DoBIH to be sure of summit: no line of sight to help indicate which higher. No view either. Down roughly southwards as far as fence on southern edge of forest: this is a tall newish deer fence, and the remains of the old fence have been left in the undergrowth as a trap for the unwary or visually impaired. Westwards along north side of fence on rough grass and heather almost to communications mast, then on forestry tracks back to Kames for bus to Oban.mainnirnamfiadh20/06/2022
From NNW, via Kames Farm, with Dazingdale, fairly open forest, 2 HP candidates. #1 of 18 thru to Dun ChonallaichRHW13/05/2018
1st of a 16 tump, 24.5km loop from Kames Farm to Lord of the Isles pub in Craobh Haven and this a previously unlogged tump. The 1st 7 with RHW, lift courtesy of Jonglew. We took the track winding SE, veering off at NM8267610354, arriving at what we throught was the top. I recorded 288m @NM 82719 10220 but another high point encountered further south, recording 289m @ NM 82744 10204 in amongst the spruce. Continuation meandering South through windfall to break out of forest and then follow fenceline Ese towards Tom Soilleir...Dazingdale13/05/2018
