13th top of 15 on a 28.8km circular from the A816 at Blaran, climbing A' Chruach, Cruach Coire Lorn, Carn Dearg, Cnoc Raibeirt,Cnoc nan Gobhar, Beinn Chapull, Beinn Chapull North top, Creag na h-Iolaire, Creag na h-Eanchainn, An t-Srang, Cruach Narrachan East top and Cruach Narrachan continuing NW to cross the burn feeding Lochan a' Bhailis, pushing through new plantings of spruce before using a track heading North to gain the ridge then turning SW on a track that heads over the summit.I recorded 282m @ NM 90491 16338, just North of the track and NM 90493 16332 just South of the track. Pretty level for quite a while but small contour on S-western edge is also a summit contender, recording 282m @ NM 90371 16242. Continuation Nw then Wsw to reach a forest road at NM90084 16366 (not shown on OSm) following this to its terminus then continuing for Cnoc Iasg-loch... | Dazingdale | 15/05/2019 |
