From the wonderful West Island Way. I found the highest reading beside the fence but c'mon the wee cairn is prettier?DavieRuts31/10/2023

4th and final top of a circular from Kames Bay and my final Isle of Bute tump. Climbed Kilbridge, Cnocanalt and Windy Hill then onto West Island Way before veering off to investigate high point and then cairn before descending to return via the West Island Way (with a short detour to a chambered cairn). Cattle have made the path churned up in places so be warned. Afterwards i celebrated by visiting the Jam Jar cafe on Canada Hill. Very friendly staff. The next day i took North ferry to peninsular and then ferry from Portavadie to Tarbert and did some tumps near Lochgilphead...Dazingdale20/05/2021

Layby parking opp track to Shalunt. Short round of Cnocanallt, Windy Hill, then across the bogfest to here. Cairn looked obviously higher but after walking over to it, decided the spot height was higher. Easy walk down to the road, for 1km back to the car.jonglew27/08/2017
Came up using the track from the ruin of St Colmac Church. A bad mistake, as the area at the end of the track is used for cattle feeding and is knee deep in glaur. The cattle seem to roam free on the hillside above, which is churned and pitted. An awful approach. I'd disagree with Chris, as I thought the spot height to be higher than the cairn.Colin Crawford26/03/2017
P at marina. Followed WIW up Hilton track then onto Edinbeg Hill and Kames Hill. Cairn looked like the highest point but also went to 269m spot height. Onwards to Windy Hill.chrisbien04/12/2016
Came across on the 07:55 ferry from Wemyss Bay, parked in the lay-by below Shalunt. Up track and onto hill to Windy Hill and trig then onto Kames Hill before heading done to the road and back to the car.Dugswell228/11/2016
