1st of 6 hills on a 19.5 km circular from parking on track in Stonefield Castle estate, taking track to Upper Ashens then a track heading parallel to Barmore burn before climbing right alongside it then North keeping next to fenceline before exploring the 1st of several competing knolls. At least 2 contenders, all 230m contour areas visited. Some are nice rocky outcrops and others are just high areas in Sitka spruce. Continuation to Cruach nan cuilean...Dazingdale23/05/2023
