Off the Haul Road which was very busy as it was being used to get to Kilmelford around all the landslide and flood damage road closures. A new bridge is being built there. Bit of a path helped in the otherwise rough grass. | fasgadh | 26/10/2023 |
Along with Cnoc na Moine and Sron na Saobhaidhe, not as good a view as the views from its neighbours. Via the 'newish' forestry road. | DavieRuts | 24/08/2021 |
After Sròn na Saobhaidhe. From West Loch Awe Timber Haul Route about 8688 0503 up north ridge. Ground there surprisingly rough (grass, moss, heather): didn’t look as if it had seen a sheep for years. Light cloud, with a blink of sun during lunch. Down west-north-westwards over easier ground straight to WLATHR, then along it to A816 and bus to Oban. | mainnirnamfiadh | 14/05/2021 |
2nd top of 16 on a 24km traverse from Ford to the Glenmore Country House in Kilmelford, climbing Dun Dubh then heading NE onto Wind turbine road before heading SE to climb to the top, recording 207m @ NM 86955 04855 and NM 86940 04880. Continuing NW for Sron Saobhaide... | Dazingdale | 10/05/2019 |
Grassy HP. #16 of 18, Kames Farm thru to Dun Chonallaich. | RHW | 13/05/2018 |
Small grassy ridge; HP at centre. Returned to Ford via Forestry track- hillside cleared of trees, so not too bad to cross.Gusty wind, cool, overcast with hazy sea views. | Denise | 16/04/2018 |
