3 of 4 from near the cross. | robertphillips | 23/07/2023 |
From Carn Breagach, followed forestry tracks south, down and then uphill through brash and .5m saplings. Summit area of brash but quite flat. Murky. | Denise | 17/03/2020 |
From col to SW, steeply up grass with tree stumps and saplings. | RichardM | 17/03/2020 |
Bus along A816 to Lerags road end. This road to Ardoran road, forestry road to left past Ardoran Lodge, then now-overgrown track to bealach between NE and main tops. Short but demanding climb to NE top through long grass concealing deep ditches and other nasty forestry left-overs. Rain earlier, both heavier and longer-lasting than forecast, but now dry. View hazy, but including Losgann Lornach and Ross of Mull. Back to bealach (easier said than done), then on to main top. | mainnirnamfiadh | 04/08/2018 |
5th tump of 14 on a 23km route from the A816 to Soroba, climbing Fair Coillich, Barr Leathan, Cnoc Fraoich and Cnoc Fraoich Sw top, descending on a track SE then over a deer fence to rejoin the track heading SE then cutting across to a rough logging track but obstacles galore avoiding trenches, brash and stumps. I recorded 148m @ NM 85536 24434 and NM 85539 24439. Onwards to Carn Breugach... | Dazingdale | 07/05/2018 |
I used the road making for Ardoran then went directly up south east from the corner to join the higher track. A logging track now extends to the col between the two summits. The NE Top has been clear felled and is hard work indeed. At the present time, the main top remains tree covered but that may not last long. An easy enough pull up through mature, open trees to a grassy and rocky mini ridge | Colin Crawford | 14/04/2017 |
