From the hotel, as others. On approach, I thought that the cairn was made of quartzite boulders but it tuned out to be just white lichenColin Crawford28/11/2022

A quick steep ascent from the hotel.sclater21/02/2021
12th and final hill on a traverse from Taynuilt to the Taychreggan hotel, climbing Cnoc Ichrachan, Tom nan Aighean, Creag Bhainneach, Cnoc Lochan a' Bhealaich, Creag an Aonaich, Meall an Fhitich ,Creag Thulach, Barr a' Ghlaoigh Mor, Cnoc Dubh Loch, Cnoc Lomain North top and Cnoc Lomain descending to re-join the track then veering off once past the deer fence to eventually reach the cairn. My pkanned rokute worked pretty well fi ding gates and paths before veering off to climb through the bracken/bluebell covered grassy slope to the top. The woodlkand is about 10 metres away. I descended through the lovely bluebell woodland and then walked round to the entrance of the hotel. Guests were dining dresses upto the nines, while i clearly wasn't!Dazingdale05/05/2019
Just before hotel track left that days deliveries and coaches. 50metres track left up through woods left then right and put through gate into field. Stay right. Another gate right shrill out onto open hillside of bluebell and young bracken.vegibagger23/05/2018
After Cruach Achadh na Craoibhe. East from Kilchrenan on Ardanaiseig road, looking for track to Barbreck. Start not obvious, and area bounded by new fencing, so headed through first available gate (south of Lochan na Gealaich) and headed south with occasional path, eventually reaching gate at NN 047219 and heading up to dùn from the north-west. Footpath visible off and on beneath the bracken. View limited by trees to south-east and haze in other directions. Down westwards (WARNING: concealed wire just below knee height at gap in wall near NN 047216) to houses under construction west of Taychreggan, then B845 to Kilchrenan for bus to Oban.mainnirnamfiadh10/06/2016
