Same as Dazingdale and co, via the East is straightforward, forget the South or West, it's a jungle. | DavieRuts | 20/10/2023 |
Parked to the east close to highest point of road. Space for parking opposite a small track to the E. Made a beeline for the summit up steep banks of well spaced spruces. Spot height is the summit and there’s a slightly lower summmit not far to ithe north. Note the west side where chalky ascended looks a challenge with thick vegetation and steepness. With Dazingdale. | Adrian | 23/05/2022 |
Last hill of day, bagging with Adrian. We parked up on parking area of track to the East and then ascended over initially slippery moss, through deciduous trees and then later through spruce but still fairly easily and a few minutes later found the Summit to the North, followed by the true summit dead on the spot height. Descent as outward route. Chalky's log was very informative. We drove past the East side on exiting the area-not recommended! | Dazingdale | 23/05/2022 |
Track on West side about 100m South of the high point an animal track can be seen heading easily up to ridge line where an unpleasant mix of Spruce and Rhododendrons makes for slow progress but just over on the East side of the ridge fewer Rhodos will be found. | chalky1953 | 22/04/2019 |
Not ticked, went right round with no obvious way through thick rhododendron and youngish conifers. | chalky1953 | 16/08/2016 |
