Awkward little hill, a scramble up open woodland from Tayvallich shop, with a few fences to cross and some surprising open pasture. Summit area has lots of scrub and a few possible contenders for high point. I'd been tempted to go cross country to Cnoc an t-Samhlaidh but what I could see dissuaded me from the attemptColin Crawford24/10/2023
Approached from the SW Barnashaig Settlement, which is worth seeing, no view at the summit, too many trees, the small hill to the NE, Dun a' Bhealaich, is far better.DavieRuts01/03/2022
11th tump of 14 today after the Taynish 4. Parked on larger passing bay on road to the South. Into woodland and then down a dip and up to the summit with top on either the boulder or a bit further in. Next over to Carsaig for Cnoc an t-Samlaidh...Dazingdale26/05/2021

After Taynish dissertation fieldwork. Ascended via blue rope swing but path ascends from car park and house beside house on car park corner. Big boulder behind conifer seems to be summit.iangpark10/01/2019
After lunch at the cafe in Tayvallich. From lane opposite mast, good viewpoint.nordicstar07/06/2015
