6th and final top on a 14.5km circuit from Kilmichael Glassary, continuing from Creag Dubh descending West onto a track and then following this West and continuing to cross Barran Fuar and climb up onto the ridge from the NE corner, At times I was following a Deer track but the bracken was severe and on approaching the summit I moved over closer to the edge to avoid a really densce clump only for my left foot to fall heavily into a crack in the rocks. I screamed in pain and subsequently had to summit then hobble down very slowly getting back onto the road at Glenalva and from there back to Kilmichael Glassary. 7 months on and my ankle has just healed but not 100%.Dazingdale10/09/2021
Along with Black Hill, straight up from behind the farm found a deer track between the rocks.DavieRuts27/03/2021
Return visit when bracken subdued. Bus to Bridgend, road past Kilmichael Glassary to gate south-west of Glenalva, across fields and steeply up north-west side of hill on faint path (with primroses) to flattish top. Dry with wind and some cloud, but sunny intervals increasing. Summit not high enough for distant views, but nearby hills well seen. Down eastwards on faint paths (without primroses) to newish double-stranded BWF about 869943, then southwards towards newish houses about 868940. Track then road past Kilmichael Glassary to Bridgend for bus to Oban.mainnirnamfiadh30/03/2019
Bus to Bridgend, road past Kilmichael Glassary, and approach road to Torbhlaren farm. South-west end heavily defended by cliffs and vegetation, so through farm and round leftwards to attempt climb from west of summit. High bracken beginning to die but still aggressive, aided by concealed thorns and other nasties, leading to ignominious retreat, minor surgery to boots, and resolution to leave this one till February or March when bracken less hostile. Inspection of approach from north-east only confirmed this.mainnirnamfiadh07/09/2018
