Via the Ardfern Yacht Centre. Great views.DavieRuts20/04/2023
The one island in Loch Craignish missed on the boat trip few days ago. From boatyard carpark approx half hpur before low tide, across weed and rocks. Kept to the shoreline until spotting a grassy ramp starting around NM 8092 0414 leading directly to summit area. Views and bluebells in equally large quantites.jonglew19/05/2018
Just about at low tide with Darren Giddins but not early enough as for deep wade on way back.vegibagger12/05/2018
2nd of 10 tumps today with Charles Everett, having stopped off to bag An Cnap near Aduane Gardens. We got over no problem, easy route up right from Northern tip to Cairn, i continued to explore 62m Spot height in amongst the Hazel trees with carpets of Bluebells for ground cover, returning via a grassy ramp, and 2 ft of water to contend with to get across the causeway. Next tump: Cnoc Lerigoligan. PS- this tump was not missed from my Craignish Isles trip as it is tidal and therefore not essential to get to by boat.Dazingdale12/05/2018
With Jenx at end of the Marhofn '15 trip. Nice tidal island with good viewsnordicstar08/06/2015
Channel dry at mid tide hence approx 0m saddle. From boatyard car park; steep climb, path along ridge.RHW07/06/2015
From Ardfern Marina at low tide.Tony J07/06/2015
Intermittent trail along the crest.Smudge07/06/2015
Dry across sea. Path to large cairn at the top.chrisbien07/06/2015
Low tide, high wind, great view.Martin R06/06/2015
Took advantage of the exceptionally low tide the day after the eclipse of the sun and convenient bus times from Oban to Ardfern. The south-east edge of the Ardfern Yacht Centre is a wall of large rough stones, but there is a sort of quay pointing towards the island - it's just a matter of looking between the boats. Once across to the island and through the gate cross the flatter ground and slightly round the end of the ridge, then up and along the crest to the summit. Back the same way.mainnirnamfiadh21/03/2015
Probably accessible 65%+ of time (not just at low tide). Parked 200m before Ardfern Marina. 2m tall bracken and fierce midges. Good training for jungle combat. Suggest Oct - Apr.jimbloomer26/06/2014
