Headed NW from the highest point of the track to the South at 872714. Pretty rough going but a few deer tracks. I left a pile of precious stones at the summit for the next 'lucky winner'. | DavieRuts | 01/11/2022 |
1st of 3 hills today. Parked up at Stonefield cadtle (with permission) then took track around the island, very peacefil. Quite a tough scramble up through vegetation to third of the way then much easier to the top. Amaziing variety of fungi present on my visit. Descent tricky too as had to fight my way through vegetation till i got back onto the path. | Dazingdale | 05/09/2021 |
Not many weaknesses in this ones defences but take the path around the island and at the high point you may find one. | chalky1953 | 16/08/2016 |
