After my 8 hill circular from Rothesay i drove up to Ettrick Bay, got a takeout drink and cake from the cafe and then realised i was on the wrong side of the bay so drove back out and parked up near the campervans on the South side of the bay. Walked throuh some nice grassland, a bit wet at times before climbing up through some gorse to reach fenceline with pasture and then on fairly easy. Nice grassy ridge. Continuation to Creag na Buidsich by intercepting lane to Upper Ardroscadale then via pasture to Largievrechtan belt... | Dazingdale | 18/05/2021 |
A 5 tump bike round from the rothesay ferry, blackpark hill, barmore hill, kerryfearn hill from near kilwhinleck, castle cree from the east, creag na buidsich from the west. | robertphillips | 06/10/2019 |
South to north traverse from Ardroscadale farm. Tolerable going but fields very wet underfoot and the cattle have churned up much of the pasture | Colin Crawford | 05/10/2017 |
From road to E, parking at entrance to Upper Ardroscadale Farm. Cattle pasture with 6 feisty steers, awkward ditch, otherwise straight forward. Embedded stones in the ground suggest a look out or similar; map shows a dun a bit further N. Nice views W. | jonglew | 29/08/2017 |
