From Beinn Bhreac with Dangerous Dave heading back north to the Lochranza centre over any hills that are in the way. | bolton | 20/06/2022 |
Easy terrain from Beinn Breach. A lot of red deer in this quiet area. Fine-looking hill. With bolton. | Dangerous Dave | 20/06/2022 |
Perhaps the slowest ever ascent of Beinn Bhreac due to recovery from Bacillus cereus-contaminated food (the most likely cause of pure emesis). A lovely easy hill with splendid views, although the same cannot be said of the noxious shite fest of a path up Gleann Diomhan. To avoid returning on the path, I returned via Beinn Bhiorach, surprisingly attractive for a mere Tump, and the more pancake-like Creag na h-Iolaire. The descent down the ridge above the Abhainn Bheag is quite exciting if you haven't got a clue whether it's feasible or not. The key to the craggy bit was a short slot to slither down with a handy sapling near the bottom. | Gill | 08/04/2022 |
Arran Mountain Festival walk along with Beinn Bhreac, Meal Mor and Cnoc Leacainn Duibhe. Via Glen Catacol then Gleann Diamhan. | DavieRuts | 16/05/2021 |

From Beinn Bhreac on the way to Meall Mor. Easy going. | Alan Moore | 13/05/2019 |
3rd of 7 hills. From Meall Mor on easy grassy slopes; on to Beinn Tarsuinn on a slightly circuitous route heading towards the col with Beinn Bhreac to avoid losing too much height. Rain and wind now set in for the day. | jonglew | 09/05/2018 |
Too late start up this third of four, on way to Marilyn to south and knew I'd probably run our of light. | vegibagger | 21/11/2017 |
With a prominent feel and large granite slabs. still windy. Surrounding hillsides boggy. | Denise | 17/11/2017 |
From Craig Na h-Iolaire, on to Beinn Bhreac. | Wycombe Wanderer | 17/11/2017 |
Pleasently up the rounded granite outcrops in the grassy N slope. Colour in distant patches of sunshine while we move in a dramatic greyness of racing clouds and squalls of rain. Summit has a distinct outcrop as its high point. | RichardM | 17/11/2017 |
Beinn Tarsuinn South and main top, Bheheinn Bhreac, Beinn Bhiorach, Creag na h-Iolaire, Meall Mor & Creagan nan Caorach for good measure! With Phil and Yappy dog Blue. | Mountain Goat | 11/06/2017 |
ACW Route of meall nan damh, meall bhig, meall donn, beinn bhreac, beinn tarsuinn south top, beinn tarsuinn, beinn bhreac, beinn bhiorach, meall mor, creag na h lolaire from fairhaven catacol. | robertphillips | 14/05/2016 |
3rd hill of 7 today on a circuit from Lochranza, climbing Torr Nead an Eoin, Meall Mor and then relatively easily descending and reascending to Beinn Bhiorach. These are hills that i would gladly climb again for in the background is Cir Mhor and Goatfell. I had my packed lunch sheltered next to a large granite boulder on the lower slopes to the North. | Dazingdale | 11/05/2016 |
On way to Bhreac | nordicstar | 18/04/2016 |
