Boat trip arranged by Bolton. 11 hill walkers.
Very hot day. From Port na h-Ealaidh basically using tracks then following wall to Loch & then direct to main Summit - excellent views. Visited also the SE top which has many bouldery outcrops. | ger | 22/07/2021 |
Visited all summit contenders, then onto Marilyn. With PM, SS & Jack. | CJM | 22/07/2021 |
After landing on the NE coast we followed the track and then the wall, going further south to this summit. 100 yards further down from this top are great views of the Corryvreckan | bolton | 22/07/2021 |

On a Farsain Cruises trip out of Craobh Haven. Dropped off at the jetty at NE end of the island. Up to island summit then dropped directly SE over rough ground. On to the final Scarba tump of Maol Buidhe. | jonglew | 15/05/2018 |
8th and penultimate tump on the 2nd day of 3 boat trips I organised with Farsain Cruises out of Craobh Haven, staring on the South top of the Western arm of Lunga to climb Garbh Cheatramh and Bidein na h-Lolaire we headed N to do the tidal traverse to climb Meall Mheadhonach and Rubha Fiola before picking up the last Lunga tump of Barr A'Bhealaich on the way to Scarba. Drop off at the Jetty near Poll na h-Ealaidh, we climbed Kilmory Lodge Hill and then Cruach Scarba, descending Sw past some lochans then Sse, East and then SE to the summit plateaux in very strong wind and rain. Highest point recorded at NM 69485 03980. We continued NE, then Ene, SE to pass close to Loch Airigh A' Chruidh, heading for the final tump of Maol Buidhe... | Dazingdale | 15/05/2018 |
From the boat landing at NM720060 - first Kilmory Lodge Hill, then Cruach Scarba via N ridge and finally Cruach Scarba SE Top. Difficult to decide which bit of rock is the hp. Returned via the eastern pony path. Boat charter with Farsain Cruises (Craobh Haven) organised by PGCE. Excellent day; good company. | summitsup | 08/08/2017 |
