From 61800/45838 parking spot, went N along road & just before bridge, an ATV track goes up. Left it at 60448/45980. From between lochans, up grassy rake on ESE side. Descended S and on to Meall Eudainn. Down ENE more or less directly to car.duchally10/06/2023

Solo trip, in improving weather after Ben Hutig in the morning. There is as others have said a good ATV track up to the lochans. After leaving the first lochan to the left, I took a direct line down to pass between the next two to approach the bottom of the steep bit. Be patient and walk a little farther round and it becomes a much easier ascent on grass (approx from SE end of L. na Beiste). Summit clear but Ben Loyal still in cloud.Invicta1423/04/2022
From grassy lay-by 613449 first to the Tump, Meall Eudainn then this one and back to the van and on to Ben Hiel.NormanW15/05/2021
parked at meeting of two lochs strolled does then up to this peak. Took just over an hour half, start of the Ben Loyal traverse. Sun shining great day.iandesbottes27/09/2020
From the bridge at Inchkinloch, up the side of the burn and onto ridge. Avoids peat hags. Overcast, dry and very windy.iangalbraith13/07/2020

Last Marilyn with trimarc2 on his adventure as back tonight on sleeper train to London. Lovely end with this magic little wild mountain to an incredible trip. Miss him already!Fionalevey14/05/2019
With Fiona and the last hill of a very incredibly lovely few days with her. Usual route from nearby road. Super little peak.trimarc214/05/2019
From Ben Loyal (Carn an Tionail). Easy walking in dry sunny weather. Descended initially north then steeply ESE down awkward stony / grassy / heathery ground to Coire Cosagach. Across the Allt Torr an Tairbh then ATV tracks back to Lettermore.Owen B21/04/2019
On solo traverse of Loyal Marilyns + Beinn Stumanadh.amswanston02/09/2018
Clockwise round of three marilyns from Lettermore. Track around to foot of horseshoe ridge then found nordicstar's track at 300m.Topographer5718/07/2018
From Ben Loyal. Afterwards went down the north ridge. This was steeper than expected at the bottom but easy to avoid if going up this way. Then went past the disused hydro scheme and the waterfalls to the A836.Alan Moore19/05/2018
A lovely evening walk in the sun, but a strong wind. There’s a good parking place a few hundred yards south of Loch Loyal Lodge; walk back to pick up the ATV track heading up the south side of the fenced off field. The track heads up onto the NE ridge, and leads to the first lochan. I headed downwards to take a direct line between the 2 lochans to the W, then up onto the SE ridge and an easy steep climb on short heather. Just beyond the cairn, there’s a rocky outcrop perfectly designed for loafing and admiring the wonderful views. On the way back, I headed around the coire, down the SE ridge, which is easier going (no tussocks), to join the ATV track at the end of the SE ridge, which heads E towards Meall an Eudainn and then cuts N to the lochan.Gill10/05/2018

MMC Tongue trip with Noelle Ryan and Jon Moss. followed Donald Irvine's advice about the round to take in two Marilyns. Long mostly dry day in low cloud on Ben Loyal but some views from Marilyns. 8 hours.alexmaclennan21/10/2017
1/3 Parked near bend on Tongue road near bridge/hut. Easy going grass slopes, albeit steep to a commanding viewpoint. Glorious sunshineN.Morters03/05/2017
Weather fair with moderate wind.MountainMac30/04/2017
To the East just below the estate lodge. Excellent ATV track heads up hill to the small lochs at 400m. From there a simple contour in to base of hill then short steep climb to top.nordicstar15/06/2016
A helpful track took us a long way up to the lochans. Then just a steep climb up to the top.jenx15/06/2016
From bridge to the southAndrewFinnimore26/08/2014
From Loch Loyal straight up to summit of Meall Eudainn, down to the col in thick mist and along to the summit. Alternative way down involved a little wandering.Martin R23/05/2014
Climbed from the milestone at NC612450. Steeply up on grass to the Meall Eudainn bealach and then along the ridge. The final slopes are steep heather and are probably best tackled from the South West.Chris Peart24/11/2012
Morning ascent in clear weather from the south. Would have liked to have re-ascended Ben Loyal from here as the weather was poor on the two times I had climbed it, but no time.JohnW11/06/2011
Parked by Loch Loyal in a runoff from A836. Easily but steeply up over moor grass, heather and bracken, passing deer wallows. To bealach dodging peat hags, 10 deer moved away into the wind. Steep scramble up on all fours on short heather and moss to a neat cairn of rounded sandstone boulders and a small antler. 10.40.arranc30/07/2008
